XRIEL

A personal assistant that works inside your own Google account.

XRIEL reads and writes the documents, calendar and task list you point it at, and keeps the result in your own Google Drive. It runs on the machine where you install it.

What it does

What it asks for

When you connect your Google account, XRIEL asks for permission to work with the files it creates or the files you select, plus your calendar and tasks. It does not ask for access to your Gmail messages, and it does not browse your Drive.

Where your data stays

Documents stay in your Google Drive. The access token that lets XRIEL act on your behalf is stored on the device you installed it on, in a file only your user account can read. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone other than Google's APIs acting on your instructions.
