Privacy policy
Applies to the XRIEL application. Last updated 23 October 2026.
XRIEL is a personal-assistant application that acts on a Google account only after the account holder grants it access. This policy states exactly what it handles.
Information XRIEL receives
- Account identity. Your Google account's email address and display name, so the application knows which account you approved and can label its own records.
- Documents you ask for. Spreadsheets, documents and presentations that XRIEL creates, and files you explicitly select for it to work with. Access is limited to those files.
- Calendar and tasks. Events and task entries in the calendar you approve, read and written so XRIEL can schedule what you ask it to schedule.
Information XRIEL does not receive
XRIEL does not request access to Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files you have not created or selected, or any other Google service. It holds no ability to browse your Drive.
How the information is used
Only to carry out the requests you make of the application. XRIEL does not build advertising profiles, does not sell data, and does not disclose it to third parties other than Google's own APIs, which execute the actions you requested.
Storage and retention
Documents remain in your Google Drive, under your control. The access token that allows XRIEL to act on your behalf is stored on the device where the application is installed, readable only by your own user account. XRIEL keeps no copy of your data on a server of ours, because there is no such server.
Your control
- You can withdraw access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and invalidates the stored token.
- Deleting the application's local files removes the stored token from your device.
- Any document XRIEL created can be deleted from your Drive like any other file.
Security
XRIEL authenticates through Google's OAuth 2.0 flow and never sees your Google password. Tokens are held in a local file with user-only permissions. Communication with Google uses HTTPS.
Children
XRIEL is not directed to children under 13 and is not offered to them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears at this address with a new date. Substantive changes are communicated to the account holders who use the application.
